We loved our stay. The house was exactly as pictured and very clean. I travelled with my kids and our dog – all three of the kids made comments at various points about how comfortable the beds were – they came up with inventive ways of taking them home as “souvenirs”. 🙂 The porches were great, having both a screened in one & open one was nice. The house was well stocked – every kitchen utensil we could have needed was available, having a washer/dryer to use was convenient and the game room had a nice selection even my college age kids enjoyed. WiFi worked flawlessly and having multiple tvs made it easy to spread out and relax. Heads up to future travelers: the driveway is NO JOKE. I drive a Ford Explorer with side rails and a low profile. It was intimidating to get up the driveway and required a heavy foot on both the gas and the brake. I would not want to try it in winter. You have to drive everywhere in Big Canoe which we did not expect. We saw a bear and tons of deer!
