Stroll Through Jasper at the Marble Festival

Road Race | Blue Ridge

Live marble sculpting demonstrations, a fun parade, country music, handmade crafts, an art gallery, festival food, a FREE kids zone, and a road race help make the annual Georgia Marble Festival in Jasper (aka the Marble Capital of Georgia) a great time for families and friends. Drumroll for the main festival attraction, please — a tour of the marble quarries in Pickens County! It’s a pretty neat experience to add to your Blue Ridge Mountain vacation this October. Attracting around 8,000 visitors each year, the heart of this fall festival in North Georgia is to celebrate mountain life, local craftsmanship, and gorgeous Georgia marble.

Road Race
Grab a number and get to walking or running in the annual Jasper Marble Festival 5K Road Race! This early morning event kicks off the fall festival with a 5K at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday, then trickles into a 1-mile run/walk at 9:00 a.m.

Fun Parade
Local bands play, dancers perform, motorcycles roar, floats glide, and Miss Georgia Marble queens wave down Main Street in Jasper, GA, at the annual Georgia Marble Festival Parade! Each year, a new theme allows creators and participants to come up with new designs, so you’ll always have something NEW to enjoy at the festival.

Live Entertainment
Offering entertainment for all ages, the Headliner Stage features performances by ballet dancers, cloggers, and choreographed dancers. Of course, there’ll also be Southern bands jamming on stage and keeping the vibes up at the Jasper Marble Festival.

Crafts & Art Show
See wowing marble and granite sculpting demos and many more live demonstrations at the marble festival! Plus, there will be chainsaw carving and plenty of arts and crafts to take home — including pottery, woodworks, handmade clothing, bags, and homemade jams and jellies. Tap into your creative side as you walk through the fine arts exhibit (and competition) and let your imagination take flight.
