Annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade in Blue Ridge

Sponsored by The Boro Inn Irish Pub, the St. Patrick’s Day Parade in downtown Blue Ridge welcomes lads and lassies of all ages to join in the fun-loving Irish spirit! There’ll be live performances from the Blue Ridge Pipes & Drums group, emerald-decked wagons, adorable animals, flowing flags, white and gold balloons, and more. It’s a lot of fun for kids, families, couples, or large groups to let loose and have a blast celebrating together. 

Outfitted in your best green attire, enjoy watching the parade, cheering, and snapping photos from the sidelines anywhere along West Main or East Main. Or you can participate in the parade — no registration required. All you have to do is dress to impress! Creative costumes, whacky top hats, good luck charms, shamrocks of all shapes and sizes, shimmering beaded necklaces, face paint, and kilts to the hilts are great starting points. 

This family-friendly event in Blue Ridge even welcomes your precious pups to tag along. Dress ‘em up in clover-themed outfits with ribbons, hats, or sweaters. It’ll be a fun way to get your doggies out of their everyday routine for a fun experience in the North Georgia mountains.

Parade Route

The Blue Ridge St. Patrick’s Day Parade will start at First Baptist Church of Blue Ridge, near the playground at Blue Ridge City Park. If you want to participate, simply line up in front before 11:00 a.m.

Participants will stroll down East Main, then turn left on Mountain Street. The parade will take another left on West Main and follow it back to the starting point.
