Lazy Lodge

Sip your coffee or tea in the morning with views of Cox Mountain and the Big Canoe golf course from the 3 levels of decks at this luxury rental home. The new lower deck offers a hot tub for soaking away stress, and there is a new gas grill for cookouts! Inside, enjoy new mattresses in the bedrooms that feature 2 king-size beds, 3 queen-size beds, and 1 bunk bed. 

The living room is furnished with stylish leather sofas by the large picture windows that frame mountain views. The full kitchen with stainless steel appliances is just steps away, and there is a nice dining table in between. Another living space has a large sectional sofa, so you’ll have plenty of space for your group to unwind and hang out. 

Lazy Lodge is located near the Big Canoe Village and Chimney’s Conference Center, and it’s within walking distance of a swimming pool, a lake, and a beach and recreational area! Within the community, enjoy golf, pools, lakes, waterfalls, miles of hiking trails, restaurants, wedding facilities, tennis courts, playgrounds, and more on your getaway! 

Living Room
Beautifully designed and furnished, the living room in Lazy Lodge welcomes you to come relax. Two beautiful leather sofas sit on a modern rug and face the inviting fireplace. Grab a good book and unwind, reconnect with friends, chat with family, and enjoy the beautiful views just through the windows. Spring and summer showcase lush, blooming trees. Fall brings a cascade of rich reds, golds, and oranges. Winter dusts the trees with ice and snow as you’re cozied up inside this mountain retreat. 

Kitchen
Whether you want to cook your own meals or just reheat leftovers from restaurants in Big Canoe, the fully equipped kitchen in Lazy Lodge will have the tools and amenities you need. Store leftovers, drinks, and ingredients in the refrigerator/freezer, brew your morning cup with the Keurig or the drip coffeemaker, pop some bagels in the toaster oven, make some popcorn in the microwave, or bake some cookies for a day in. 

The kitchen is also outfitted with ample dishes, glassware, and utensils for up to 12 guests. Easily feed your group, whip up snacks for rainy days, or prepare your favorite holiday dishes while away. 

Dining Area
The dining table is set between the kitchen and the living room, perfect for grabbing second helpings or chatting with other guests. The high-top table has bench and stool seating for about 6 guests, and there are bar stools at the breakfast bar as well. Gather here for meals together, decorate your gingerbread houses, or set out a buffet of game-day snacks. 

When you’ve cleared the table from meals, get out the board games or card games you brought from home. Have a fun family game night here, catch up on some work, or make this your homeschool spot for the week! Kids can have breakfast here while watching cartoons in the morning, or you can enjoy a romantic dinner by the fire at night. 

Bedrooms
The bedrooms in Lazy Lodge feature fresh linens and the comforts of home for a great night’s sleep. The master suite on the main floor has a king-size bed, a jetted tub, a walk-in shower, and 2 vanities. Upstairs bedrooms feature 1 queen bed and 1 king bed, with a shared Jack and Jill bathroom in between. The terrace level features a queen bedroom, along with another queen bedroom with a bunk bed and shared bathroom. After long, fun days, these bedrooms will be just where you want to slip away. 

Outdoor Spaces
Lazy Lodge has some great outdoor spaces for guests to enjoy during their stay. Take in views of Cox Mountain and the Big Canoe golf course from 3 levels of decks at this great getaway. The new lower deck has a bubbling hot tub for relaxing, and there is a new gas grill for cookouts! 

This vacation home is also within walking distance of a pool, a lake, and a beach and recreational area for some more outdoor fun. When you’re not relaxing with mountain views, you’ll be exploring Big Canoe and North Georgia! 

Along with the open deck spaces, Lazy Lodge has a nice screened-in deck area. It has a dining table, so you can sit down for outdoor meals on beautiful North Georgia days, have your coffee here in the morning, or sip a drink as the sun goes down over the mountains. 

Other Amenities
Stay cool with air conditioning in Lazy Lodge or catch up on some work at the desk area. Along with bookshelves and a desk, it has a large window and a printer. The home also offers a washer, so you can stay on top of laundry while away.
