Whether you’re here for a just-because weekend, a birthday celebration, a graduation getaway, a summer vacation, or a North Georgia Christmas stay, you’ll appreciate a comfortable place to rest, relax, and recharge at your Big Canoe cabin. There are 5 comfy bedrooms with nightstands, bedside lamps, and a mix of 2 king-size beds, 2 queen-size beds, and 2 twin-size beds (sleeps 10 guests max).
Each bedroom has its own en-suite bathroom, and most of the bedrooms have their own TV plus serene wooded and lake views. The bathrooms have a blend of walk-in showers, bathtubs, and shower/bath combos. And there’s another half bathroom in the home for added convenience.
To note, the main suite has a lovely picture window framing phenomenal views of Lake Disharoon and the towering trees! There’s a king-size bed, an armchair, a desk, a TV, a ceiling fan, plus a walk-in shower and a large jetted soaking tub in the en-suite bathroom.
Outdoor Spaces
After visiting Gibbs Gardens, horseback riding in the national forest, or going tubing downriver, return to your own outdoor spaces at this Big Canoe Community cabin rental. Soothing water views and wooded scenery help you reconnect with nature, and there are 2 decks to hang out in the great outdoors. And you can walk to Lake Disharoon for more outdoor activities!
At this semi-private cabin in North Georgia, you’ll have a furnished screened deck area with a ceiling fan, ideal for sipping your morning coffee while listening to the birds sing. On the open deck space, you can flip burgers, sausages, kabobs, or steaks on the gas grill for a Blue Ridge Mountain cookout! And you can dine at the outdoor table beneath the blue sky, roaming clouds, or night stars.
On the covered deck below, there’s a porch swing, another table with chairs, and more seating. It’s a great space to enjoy calming rainy or super sunny days in the mountains while still being able to enjoy time together outside. You can crack open a new book to read, clank moonshine jars for a toast to the good times, or simply chat with friends and family for a while.
For travel notes, you’ll be thankful for flat, paved roads and a flat, paved driveway, making driving to and from your Big Canoe rental so much easier. The parking pad can host 2 vehicles, and additional space at the Laurel Ridge overflow parking area is available about 200 feet away (a relatively easy walk) from the vacation home.
