Start your days at Snowbird Sanctuary and Snowbird Nest with peaceful mountain views and a cup of coffee on the deck. Make breakfast in the fully equipped kitchen of your comfortable and elegant mountain retreat and enjoy it inside or in the fenced-in outdoor dining area. The firepit is also here, so you can gather at night for chats and s’mores. A bubbling 6-person hot tub is nearby, and there is a nice gazebo with a swing that’s perfect for reading and relaxing on your Blue Ridge vacation. 

Keep the group entertained with games in Snowbird Nest, including a pool table and an air hockey table! It also has a card table, along with a living and dining area upstairs, a full kitchen, and a king bedroom with a balcony and smart TV. SNOWBIRD SANCTUARY

Living Room
The main living room in Snowbird Sanctuary features cathedral ceilings, plush sofas with a matching oversized armchair with an ottoman, tabletop lamps, and a coffee table in one section. A second area here features a large gas fireplace, reclining sofas, a beautiful tin ceiling, a ceiling fan, and a big screen TV. These are 2 great places to relax and unwind and allow a group to spread out a bit. One group can watch TV while another chats and enjoys some quiet time – all in this open space together. It’s also nice for families, so kids can watch TV in one area while adults relax in the other. And with a smart TV, guests can watch their favorite shows, movies, and ballgames. 

Kitchen
The fully equipped kitchen in Snowbird Sanctuary is a chef’s dream! No detail has been overlooked, and there is plenty of space for several chefs to help out. A beautiful Tiffany-style light fixture hangs from the copper ceiling, and there is a lovely island for prepping and setting out snacks or drinks. 

Find tons of counter space, a double-drawer dishwasher, a warming drawer next to the glass stovetop, a double oven, and a large stainless steel hood for all your cooking. It’s also outfitted with a sleek coffeemaker, cooking tools and knives, pots and pans, dishes and glassware, a microwave, and a huge double-door refrigerator/freezer so you can easily stock it with tons of fresh ingredients, snacks, and drinks. 

Show off your cooking skills here, cook holiday meals with family, prepare decadent dinners for a romantic evening, or take advantage of plenty of space to feed a team or group. Even if you’re not much of a chef, enjoy the space for reheating leftovers or setting up a spread of game-day snacks or takeout food. 

Dining Area
When you travel with a group, you need a fantastic kitchen to feed them – and a great place to enjoy meals. Snowbird Sanctuary offers 2 nice dining areas inside, each with seating for about 6 guests. Groups can gather for family-style meals here, graze on snacks when spending the day around the cabin, or come together to decorate holiday treats and have an easy pizza dinner. 

When it’s not mealtime, clear the tables and break out the board games you brought along. Play board games and card games on family game night, do a puzzle on a rainy day, craft and scrapbook, or just chat and sip here. The tables are also great for setting up homeschool stations, morning meetings on your corporate retreat, or working while away. 

Bedrooms
The bedrooms in Snowbird Sanctuary are just that – sanctuaries. These peaceful retreat feature calming colors, comfortable and chic bedding, and homey comforts. Bedrooms have smart TVs, and there are 3 master bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms. Two en-suite bedrooms feature king-size beds on the entry level, while the third en-suite king bedroom is upstairs. The queen loft bedroom is another nice space with a plush leather chair by the bed.

Lounge
Need to break away from the group for a bit? Do the kids want a place to hang out? The reading nook/lounge is perfect, with beanbag chairs, blankets, and an ottoman. It’s a fun, laid-back space to just unwind. The washer/dryer is located in the room just off this space as well. 

Outdoor Spaces
A trip to North Georgia is not complete without some quality time spent in the great outdoors. Easily enjoy nature at Snowbird Sanctuary and Snowbird Nest with some great outdoor amenities. Have meals at the outdoor table on the fenced-in patio area or gather around the firepit at night. Soak tired muscles in the bubbling 6-person hot tub with a privacy fence or make your way to the screened-in gazebo with a table and swing!

As you step inside Snowbird Nest, you’ll be greeted through the garage doors with an air hockey table, pool table, card table, and kitchenette. 

Upstairs, find a 1-bedroom apartment that’s beautifully outfitted. It features stylish chairs and a plush sofa in the living room, a dining table for 4, and a big screen smart TV. The full kitchen offers tons of charm, with vintage-style details, a farmhouse sink, and vintage and modern appliances. 

The bedroom feature a king-size bed and an en-suite bathroom with a clawfoot tub, stained glass window, and pedestal sink. There is a sleeper sofa in the living room for additional space, along with bunk beds in the sitting area! And when you want some fresh air, step onto the private balcony overlooking the firepit and outdoor dining area.
