Then step inside to whip up breakfast in your fully equipped kitchen, plan out the day’s fun using the high-speed Wi-Fi in the cabin, or relax in front of one of the 6 smart big-screen TVs.

Days at this Blue Ridge cabin are spent cooking out on the gas grill, playing cornhole on the custom cornhole pad, and having fun in the game room playing shuffleboard, billiards, or one of 60 arcade games at the arcade cocktail table. At night, cozy up in front of the gas fireplace and get lost in a good book or indulge in fun conversation before climbing into the soothing waters of the outdoor hot tub. Gorgeous mountain nights are spent on the expansive outdoor deck by the wood-burning fireplace, swapping stories around the fire pit, and relaxing in the Adirondack chairs beneath the stars.

A few special features too good not to special mention…

The master bedroom is designed with reclaimed wood from an old distillery in Dalton, Georgia. This is where the tin on the bar was sourced as well! The floors are custom-stained rough sawn wood. Several barn doors accent the cabin, creating a farmhouse ambiance mixed with a rustic mountain feel that’s ideal for your Blue Ridge vacation. The mantels in the living room and outdoor deck were pulled from a 150-year-old warehouse in North Carolina, with the beams kept in the condition they were received to maintain their authenticity. 

To the left and right of the outdoor wood-burning fireplace are live-edge wood slabs, perfect for pulling up a stool and enjoying a meal or cocktails. The dining table was handmade from pine and is oversized to fit all of your family friends. The décor is a mix of cowhide accents, chenille, pine, stone, and faux fur throws, and each piece of furniture and accessories has been hand-selected — creating an inviting and relaxed atmosphere. 

A fun feature you won’t find in many Blue Ridge cabins is the passing by of the Blue Ridge Scenic Railway several times a day from spring through fall. The quiet humming of the train passing by is always a fun treat, especially for children!

Living Room
Step into the living room and enjoy the open concept space that’s inviting and cozy.  Large windows provide a view of the beautiful outdoors and views of the river. A vaulted ceiling accentuates the spacious living area with a floor-to-ceiling stacked stone (gas) fireplace, giving the room a classic cabin experience in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Above the wood, mantelpiece is the 65-inch smart TV with cable and satellite options to keep your group entertained.

Plush area rugs keep you comfortable, and the sectional sofa is relaxing after hiking trails in the Chattahoochee National Forest or shopping downtown. A leather-and-cowhide side chair makes the perfect corner for gazing out the window, reading a book, or partaking in a nightcap. On chilly evenings, sip marshmallow-filled cocoa by the fire and chat into the night. Set out drinks and snacks on the granite coffee table to enjoy with entertainment on the TV.

Kitchen
A useful amenity found at all our Blue Ridge cabins, the kitchen offers a fully equipped space to prep and serve meals during your stay in the North Georgia mountains. Beautiful wood tones, quartz countertops, stainless steel appliances, and stone features blend into a gorgeous space to cook. The white farm-style sink adds to the country-chic charm, and wicker bar stools invite guests to have a seat, snack and chat.

The French door fridge with a bottom freezer will keep all of your food icy cold. It features double doors and a separate outer drawer, making accessing your food easy. There is also plenty of counter space for slicing, dicing, and preparing your meals. Stir pots on the gas range, bake treats in the oven, pop movie night popcorn in the microwave, and recruit the dishwasher to help with cleanups. 

Plus, this kitchen comes with a coffee bar — complete with a Keurig, Nespresso, milk frother, and a full coffeemaker! Don’t forget your Nespresso pods!

Dining Area
Toccoa River Mist features an elegant dining space with a custom-built farm table, 6 cushioned chairs, and a large window overlooking the trees. The modern chandelier lights the space for evening meals and board game nights, and the table is a versatile spot to set up a temporary work area, homeschooling station, arts and crafts, or coloring for the kiddos. There’s also a bench you can use to add more seating, and the kitchen’s bar stools are just a few steps away.

Rec Room
When you want to play, head to the game room at your Blue Ridge hideaway! Mix drinks and grab snacks at the wet bar featuring plenty of counter space, a sink, mini-fridge, blender, glasses, and bar seating for 4. Flip on the 65-inch smart TV for entertainment while you sip, chat, and play. You can shoot pool, dominate at shuffleboard, or be the high scorer on the tabletop arcade unit. The game room is a cool space to unwind and hang with friends and family.

Bedrooms
Ah, it’s time to hit the hay at your North Georgia riverfront cabin rental. Toccoa River Mist offers 3 private bedrooms — each with a mounted 42-inch TV for entertainment anytime. Split among 1 king-size canopy bed and 2 queen-size beds, each with a high-end pillowtop mattress, customized to suit the space and provide a relaxing atmosphere to take a snooze or chill for a bit. 

Consider taking a soothing bath or a hot shower before slipping into the sheets to flip on the reading lamps and open a good book before drifting to dreamland. The master bath boasts beautiful hammered copper sinks and a spa-like rain shower head with 3 shower heads! Each bedroom also features honeycomb blinds for privacy.

Outdoor Spaces
Nestled right on the Toccoa River, this semi-private luxury cabin offers great outdoor spaces with scenes of the sparkling river, towering trees, and views of the Old Toccoa Farm golf course just across the river. Enjoy the great outdoors of North Georgia as you play cornhole with friends, roast marshmallows around the stone firepit (with Adirondack chairs), and fire up the gas grill for a fun cookout in the Blue Ridge Mountains. 

If you want to catch a bit of sunset and watch the sun settle below the trees on your relaxing getaway, take a seat on the front porch and just relax. There’s also an outdoor dining table with 8 chairs, great for meals outside on nice mountain days. And there is a propane grill off the deck situated on a flagstone patio. *Propane is provided. 

When you want to relax, slip into your swimsuit and hop in the steamy 5-person hot tub with massaging jets, ideal after riding the Blue Ridge Scenic Railway or riding horses on a mountain trail. On the expansive deck, you’ll appreciate a luxurious space that features cushioned seating, bar stools overlooking the river and trees, a 65inch smart TV, and a wood-burning, outdoor fireplace. 

Unpacking and loading the cars won’t be a hassle when you want to head into town to shop, eat, and play. There are only 3 wide stone steps down from the front porch to the gravel driveway that boasts parking for 4 vehicles. You can also park on the street if needed.

Other Amenities
Located in the River Ridge gated community, this Blue Ridge cabin rental features access to the beautiful Toccoa River (also known as the Ocoee River in Tennessee just past McCaysville) through the community. There’s even a sitting area with a swing, gazebo, and covered picnic spot guests are free to enjoy during their stay. And there’s a golf course right across the river! 

Back at your vacation home, you’ll also have a washer/dryer to launder clothes and towels as needed, as well as high-speed Wi-Fi to stay connected if you wish. Please note this cabin is not pet-friendly.

Tucked away in the Aska Adventure Area — just over 10 miles from downtown Blue Ridge and a short drive from Cherry Log, Mineral Bluff, Morganton, and Ellijay in North Georgia — Toccoa River Mist offers a convenient place to pop into town whenever you please.
