Welcome to Horseshoe Bend Park! This lovely park is located in beautiful McCaysville, Georgia, on the Toccoa River. Admission to the park is FREE, so it’s the perfect addition to your Blue Ridge, Georgia, vacation! With nice outdoor spaces, opportunities for fun, and plenty of fresh mountain air, Horseshoe Bend Park will charm couples, relax adults, and satisfy energetic kiddos! It’s also home to the annual Pickin’ in the Park, which welcomes musicians of all skills to join in! 

After you’ve sipped your coffee with Blue Ridge Mountain views from your Blue Ridge cabin’s deck, enjoyed a hearty mountain breakfast made in your cabin’s fully equipped kitchen, and packed up a blanket, fishing gear, or a ball to throw around, head over to Horseshoe Bend Park for a fun day outside! It’s a wonderful spot for a nice family picnic day in Blue Ridge!

To Rent:
Two pavilions are available to rent at just $10 per hour. The open-air pavilions feature picnic tables and plenty of shade, perfect for birthdays, family reunions, homeschool groups, corporate retreats, team-building days, and more. There is also a lovely little gazebo for rent, also just $10 per hour. You can set up rentals by calling the Fannin County Recreation Department at 706.946.1130 or 706.632.7696.

PICNICKING IN THE PARK
If you’re planning a picnic at the park, stop by Out of the Blue for all your picnic must-haves! This charming Blue Ridge shop offers ready-to-go Wine and Snack Packs, gift baskets, craft beer, gourmet food, and more. Enjoy A Perfect French Picnic, which includes a bottle of wine and pheasant and rosemary pate – and 2 complimentary French baguettes. Add a Le Mer tablecloth for a luxurious picnic!

You can also let Asheville Picnic Company handle the day’s food. They offer a wide range of picnic options, including baskets that are insulated so you can take them along on a drive along the Blue Ridge Parkway, on a hike, or for any of your adventures for the day! If you’re taking a day drive to Asheville, stop by to get a picnic basket (book ahead of time) and be on your way back to Blue Ridge!
