Blue Ridge Mountains Wine & Jazz Festival

Wine Festivals

Sipping wine, eating good food, and listening to live jazz music on a blanket in the scenic Blue Ridge Mountains sounds like a relaxing and memorable experience, eh? Plan a weekend getaway to North Georgia this summer for the Blue Ridge Mountains Wine and Jazz Festival — an annual event with local wines plus vino from around the world, Appalachian foods, fine art, souvenirs, and jazzy beats! With an outdoor setting at White Path Creek Farms in Ellijay, GA, this mountain festival invites YOU to unwind and treat yourself to an evening of great music entertainment in Gilmer County.

Wine Sips

Local vineyards and wineries from the Blue Ridge area participate in the Blue Ridge Wine and Jazz Festival every year. Plus, there will be a wide selection of wines to try from around the globe. Just don’t forget to bring your photo ID! Only those 21+ years of age may sample, drink, and purchase alcohol.

Food booths offer great pairings of delicious cuisine to go with your wine choices, and you can purchase a few bottles to take back to your log cabin rental or home as gifts. Wine glasses and other festival souvenirs are also available.

Note: Although coolers plus outside food and drink are not allowed, you may bring water bottles to stay hydrated. Or you can purchase bottled water at $2 a pop.

Live Jazz

Of course, your entertainment at the Blue Ridge Wine and Jazz Festival has to be live music! Bring your lawn chairs or blankets to spread out and enjoy the festivities. Or you can reserve VIP seating under the pavilion that features a catered dinner, 2 bottles of wine to take home, and commemorative wine glasses for each guest. Rain or shine, the show will go on! Between shows, you can check out fine art and souvenir booths.

Note: Proceeds from the Blue Ridge Mountains Wine and Jazz Festival help support local jazz music education.
