Welcome to Trails End, a gorgeous 4-bedroom, 2.5-bathroom vacation home in Dawsonville, Georgia. Across 1,800 square feet of space, guests will find room to sleep up to 8 guests, the comforts of home, and plenty of extra conveniences for relaxing, playing, and enjoying quality time together. Secluded among the trees, Trails End offers plenty of privacy, taking you away from the everyday stresses and placing you among the serenity of North Georgia. It’s located at the end of Big Canoe Jeep Trail, offering easy access to plenty of Jeep adventures with creek crossings, historic sites, waterfalls, and picnic areas. 

And while your luxury rental house is secluded, it’s also conveniently located within the private, gated community of Big Canoe. This 8,000-acre community boasts gorgeous mountain views, lakeside amenities, and tons of community perks. It features a grocery store and post office, restaurants, a marina, a 27-hole golf course and clubhouse, a fitness center and sauna, a spa, pontoon boats and kayaks for the lakes, outdoor pools, a rockslide, waterfalls, miles of hiking trails, and more! 

Back at your beautiful house rental, enjoy relaxing and dining on the deck with a grill, a table, and outdoor seating. Hang out in the lounge with a large flatscreen TV downstairs or cozy up in the main living room with a fireplace, plush seating, and Netflix. Whip up meals in the fully equipped kitchen, fall asleep in king-size beds (plus 2 twins on the main floor), and relax at this great North Georgia mountain retreat! 

Living Room
Whether you’re cooling off on a summer day or warming up by the fireplace, the living room of Trails End will welcome you home. The room features large windows framing wooded views, a ceiling fan and air conditioning (throughout the home), a beautiful stone fireplace, a chic leather sofa and matching armchairs, a nice reading lamp, a coffee table for snacks and drinks, and a big screen TV. And with Netflix, you can stream your favorite shows, watch movies, or start a new series while relaxing around the cabin. After a day on Lake Petit or out on a hike, come back to Trails End for a great stay! 

Kitchen
While Big Canoe Community has several great restaurants – and there are even more in neighboring towns of Jasper, Dahlonega, Ellijay, Helen, and Blue Ridge – your beautiful North Georgia getaway has a fully equipped kitchen. It’s outfitted with stainless steel appliances, lovely countertops, breakfast bar seating, and ample dishes, glasses, utensils, pots and pans, and cooking tools. 

Fill your double-door refrigerator/freezer with fresh ingredients, drinks, and snacks, bake cookies in the oven, simmer dinner on the stovetop, reheat leftovers in the microwave, brew a pot of coffee for the group, or make a single cup in the Keurig on a quiet morning. There is plenty of counter space for setting out snacks on game day or creating a beautiful spread during the holidays. 

Dining Area
Enjoy meals together at the dining table just off the kitchen, where there is a lovely table with chairs and benches – with windows all around for great wooded views. Enjoy a hearty breakfast before a hike in the morning, gather for an easy lunch, or make a decadent dinner to enjoy before calling it a night. 

Or you can clear the table and break out the board games and card games you brought from home! It’s a fun space to enjoy snacks and games, do a puzzle on a rainy day, color or craft with the kids, or make and decorate treats during the holidays. 

Downstairs Living Area
Another comfortable place to relax, the lower-level living area features seating around a large flatscreen TV and an old-fashioned stove/fireplace. Enjoy chatting and sipping drinks here, surfing the Wi-Fi, let the kids play around, and watch shows and movies. 

Bedrooms
Trails End boasts 4 cozy bedrooms, outfitted with the comforts of home. The master bedroom on the main floor has a king-size bed, and there are 2 twin beds on the main floor as well. The other two bedrooms have king beds, ensuring each guest gets a great night’s sleep. There are bedside lamps, quality linens, TVs, and dressers or closets so guests can unpack and be comfortable. At the end of a big day on Lake Petit, come back to get some much-needed rest in the lovely bedrooms.

Outdoor Spaces
No trip to North Georgia is complete without some time spent in the great outdoors. Spread out on the deck, where you’ll find a dining table for outdoor meals, a grill for cookouts on those beautiful days at your mountain retreat, and chairs for chatting and having a drink. Around the rental home, stroll beneath the shade of the trees at your private getaway.

Trails End is the perfect fit for outdoor lovers, as it’s set at the end of Big Canoe Jeep Trail (the start of the Nancy Womack Trail). Trails End is above the exit to Jeep Trail, which is a fun one-way road that you can only adventure with 4-wheel drive! Start your Jeep adventure right off Wilderness Parkway and get ready for waterfalls, picnic areas, historic sites, creek crossings, and more! 

Disharoon Creek is also just a short walk away, with the Nancy Womack Trail just over the wooden walking bridge. It’s a great North Georgia mountain retreat for hikers and adventure seekers! 

Community Amenities
Located about 1 ½ hours from Atlanta, the Big Canoe Community is a private, gated community that sits on 8,000 gorgeous acres. Enjoy picnics with lake views, splashing at the swimming pools, working out at the fitness center, playing tennis, having fun on the lakes, hiking to waterfalls, and more! 

While some community amenities in Big Canoe are free, others may require an on-site fee — please note this is not included in the rental price.
