Dinner for Two
A great dinner may just be at the top of your list on a fun and romantic couple’s getaway. Blue Ridge offers some wonderful fine dining options, with a wide variety of cuisines. Farm-to-table showcasing local ingredients is their specialty, but you’ll also enjoy some great Southern food, Italian favorites, and more. Finish it off with something sweet in downtown Blue Ridge, where ice cream, fudge, truffles, and specialty drinks await!
Hit the Links
A day on the golf course is never wasted, especially in Blue Ridge, Georgia. Bring your gear (or rent when you arrive) and enjoy a romantic and fun day playing golf at Old Toccoa Farm. It runs alongside the Toccoa River, ensuring gorgeous views all day.
Sip + Savor
Blue Ridge is home to some lovely wineries (Bear Claw Vineyards & Winery, Blue Ridge Cellars, and Serenberry Vineyards), and nearby towns offer even more. Spend the afternoon touring local wineries, enjoying wine tastings, and hunting for the perfect local bottle to take back to your Blue Ridge cabin. Stop by their gift shops after touring to find accessories, a nice bottle, and more.
Have Fun at the Drive-In
Feeling nostalgic? Hop in the car and drive on up at the Swan Drive-In! Watch new movies – the old way – at this classic date night spot. While you watch, snack on funnel cake, fried Oreos, popcorn, hot dogs, nachos, soft pretzels, candy, and a classic Coca-Cola.
Take a Scenic Drive
Possibly our favorite way for couples to spend a day in North Georgia, scenic drives are a must. Whether you’re coming from Atlanta or Tennessee or you’re staying in town, you’ll find some wonderful drives to enjoy the natural beauty of the mountains. Pack a picnic lunch and a cooler with drinks before heading out on the Blue Ridge Parkway. Stop at scenic overlooks, visit nearby Dahlonega and Ellijay, go to historic sites, plan a day in Brasstown Bald, or step back in time with Bavarian charm in historic Helen, Georgia.
Go Chasing Waterfalls

One of our favorite outdoor activities, it offers you a chance to stroll hand in hand, have quality chats, get some fresh air, and spend quiet time with your loved one. Who knows, you may even drop to one knee in front of a beautiful waterfall…
