Cozy Creek Cabin

The place was the perfect getaway for us, lush trees, the sound of running water from the creek, and very private. Sliding glass door was really tough to open/close but that would not deter me from staying here again, it really is a slice of heaven and decorated really nice with old lanterns and such. Great place I miss it already.

We had a wonderful time, everything was as pictured. The driveway is steep so we always had to back down into it to avoid scraping the underneath front part of the car backing out. But the cabin and stream were perfect for our little getaway. Everything was great, we will definitely stay here again.

This is one of my favorite mountain cabins I’ve ever visited! It’s authentic, remote, and the area is beautiful. We loved walking the dirt roads, wading the creek, having a campfire by the creek, and hanging out on the porch. Everything we needed was easy to find. There are miles of trails and scenic roads to explore nearby. Elijay is a precious town, not too far away. We enjoyed walking the main streets and eating at the Corner Cafe and River Street Tavern. We will be back!!

Very nice secluded cabin. Wasn’t too far from town for shopping and dining. Close to all the orchards and wineries. Creek was very nice and close enough to the cabin to hear with the windows open. The only thing I would suggest to the owners is to update their chairs around the campfire area. It was exactly the seclusion we were looking for and would definitely rent it again and recommend it. We enjoyed our stay at this place. The creek that runs behind the river is beautiful and creates a peaceful ambience. The location is wonderful - very close to a bunch of local wineries and only a 20ish minutes drive to Downtown Ellijay.Want to note - the drive way is quite steep & unpaved. It could be difficult if you drive a car that sits low to the ground.

Creek out back is the star of this place. Very quiet. Felt great to sit in there at the end of an active day.

We loved the cabin. It was just what we were looking for. We imagine that during the spring/summer/fall it would be very lovely. The only thing that was a little disappointing was the leaves between the house and the creek. While the house on the left and the cabin on the right were cleared of leaves, our cabin was not. We did not go down to the firepit because we were concerned there might be holes or roots/rocks we would trip over that we couldn't see. It was a quick ride into town which was nice but back at the cabin, you felt you were far away in the woods and that was wonderful. We enjoyed our stay very much.

We enjoyed our stay on Turkey Creek! The cabin is RIGHT on the creek, you can hear the water with the sliding glass doors open! Cabin was clean and comfy, all you need for a mountain getaway. Very private and peaceful.

This cabin was amazing. Perfect size for a family of 4. The creek by the cabin was the highlight. It was so peaceful. The photos don't capture just how beautiful it actually is! I already can't wait to go back. I highly recommend this cabin :)

My fiancé and I had an amazing getaway weekend at this cozy cabin. It was central to downtown Ellijay but also secluded enough to enjoy the beautiful views and creek. Can’t wait to book another visit!

We were there for a wedding and had my grandson with us, 16 months old. It was so much nicer than having to stay in a hotel. We will definitely book with you again

Cabin was very cozy. Great for a couples getaway. Not a lot for teens to do, but sometimes it's good to have a little boredom. Wifi worked well. Kids and husband had a ball with the "bearskin" rug! Very minor drawbacks were ceiling lights were confusing so instructions would have been helpful; it had rained heavily the day before we came and the firepit area was directly in runoff path so very muddy. Loved that it was creekside and all in all, we had a great time making some family memories!

Really enjoyed our anniversary getaway. The location is close to Ellijay & Blue Ridge so there’s plenty of places to get a nice dinner. The creek is incredibly peaceful and we enjoyed grabbing a good book & listening to the water.

Great place for a get away. Really relaxing listening to the sound from the creek. The cabin was easy to find and the cabin was really clean and neat. Bed was real comfortable. I plain on staying at this on another outing. Thanks to the owner for having us as a guest.

This cabin exceeded our family's expectations. We have a 15 year old girl and a 9 year old boy that took the loft. We had so many sightseeing things planned but even the kids opted to stay in most of our trip. The fire pit. The porch swing. The creek 10 ft away is breathe taking. 10/10 will be back to see it in the summer.

The cabin is beautifully located near a creek which gives a pleasant ambience day and night! Cleaned and well suited for a week-long stay or even longer! The cabin was warmed in the cold nights and comfortable all throughout our stay. The advertisement picture of the front needs to be updated as some time has passed since the picture was taken and you miss out on the beautiful plants and plowers that are now in front of the cabin.

Cabin was nice. Weather was beautiful. Light over dining room table was going out. Enjoyed the firepit!!

This is a charming cabin 15 minutes from town by car but a million miles away from the worries of everyday life. It was great for my fiancee and me to relax and unwind. Beautiful scenery and the only noise is the stream running by. Bring your own pillow and a vehicle with good traction. Great place.

This cabin is so quiet and so relaxing. The creek behind the house makes that location relaxing. My kids loved playing outside while my husband and I relaxed. The cabin is so comfy. We definitely want to go back!

This little cabin is perfect for a couples getaway! We were very impressed at the easy check in process and the property manager is super sweet and helpful! We asked in and it felt untouched; it was very clean and has all items needed to start off your getaway! I love that there is a full size over/under washing machine and bathroom. The cabin had a welcoming vibe and definitely felt like you are in the mountains! Just 30 feel or so is a beautiful and tranquil creek that flows perfectly into a larger river down way. My husband and so enjoyed walking the creek bed skipping rocks and searching through rock beds. There is also a cozy fire pit on the property for romantic bonfires with your babe. The kitchen was fully equipped with most cookware needed and also plenty equipped with trash bags, soap and towels for easy clean up. The check out process was seamless, as well as the check in process. The only regrets we have is that we wish we could have stayed longer and don’t have to say goodbye so soon! Quick Tips: -Watch our for dark windy roads if coming in at night! -Grocery stores are about 15 minutes away. As well as a variety of eatery options -There are super cool parks about 30 minutes away - Dont pass on the Apple orchard experience!

This is the most relaxing get away I have ever experienced. I hate to leave! It is perfect for couples to get away from the hustle and bustle. The cabin it cute and clean. Ohhh, that creek - I cant get enough of it! We will be back!

Cabin was perfect!! Bed in master is small (Full size), but it was comfortable. The creek behind the cabin was a highlight. Back porch over looked it, and loved to sit outside and listen to rain and the water. Did loose power during thunderstorm, and had trouble finding flashlights, and all the battery operated candles batteries were bad. We did have batteries in the car so were able to get some lighting. Wish there were instructions on where to find the battery operated lanterns (like on the frig), finally found them after lights came on above stove. Will stay here again, if we find ourselves in the area.

My husband and I very much enjoyed our stay at this quaint little cabin away from all of the hustle and bustle of the city. It was the perfect size for a couple (1 bedroom, 1 bath). There's a loft with 2 twin beds...perfect for kids). Opening the windows and listening to the beautiful creek in the backyard from the kitchen/living room added to the already serene environment. And there's is plenty to do nearby (Amicalola Falls, Ellijay and several orchards). Would highly recommend!

I really enjoyed my stay. The only thing I would change is a little more room on the storage for clothes. Not really any closet space, but it was a small cabin. We can make it work. After all you are in Ellijay in fall time. And getting out of the drive way was a little tricky, but all in all I would stay again.

Cabin was just as we expected, just like pictures! We took firewood and enjoyed the sound of babbling brook while enjoying coziness of fire/fire pit! It was tucked away enough to feel secluded, but yet was so close to town! We will be returning!

This was the perfect little cabin for my husband and me to get away for the weekend, though not too small that we couldn’t have brought our kids along. The back porch is a peaceful spot to enjoy morning coffee or evening wine. There are other cabins nearby but this was a nice private spot.

Nice place to stay!

We wanted to get away to a quiet cabin with water on property. This place checked every box. Rustic little place on a pretty creek,. Cabin was very clean and well stocked with all you need to enjoy the woodsy location. Central to many points of interest like Blue Ridge and Amicalola, with charming downtown Ellijay, and easy to get to, paved most of the way up to short gravel road. We traveled as a family of three and had a wonderful time thanks to the owners. If you want stuffy luxury, this is not a good fit. If you want a clean, quiet, adorable, rustic cabin with loft, close to the orchards, then I wholly recommend this place. It did not disappoint and we can't wait to get back.

We loved our stay here. The creek is only 20 ft. or so from the back steps, and our boys loved playing in it. The cabin was spotless with everything one might need. The outside swing was also clean. The burn pitt was also nice, but bring firewood. We came at a time when it was raining so it was hard finding anything dry to start a fire. The loft is also great and secure, but the railing made me nervous with a rambunctious 3 yr old. He could have fit through so we decided to let him sleep downstairs. This wouldn't be an issue for older kids or non-paranoid parents:D. contacted the property manager twice and a quick and helpful response was received each time. It is also close to state parks and the big foot museum. It was great!

Perfect price. Just far enough outside of town but,, close enough to go in all directions. We spent most of our time in the creek or sitting on the porch listening and watching it. Perfect size for my husband, grandson and I. Comfortable beds, plenty of kitchen supplies and towels and such. Would definitely recommend this cabin, you won’t be disappointed!!

We loved our time in Ellijay, and the cabin was wonderful. To sit and listen to the stream just off the back porch was so relaxing. The cabin was very clean and perfect for us. Our daughter was thrilled with the loft, all to herself. We will be returning!

Loved staying at this perfect sized cabin on the river. Fire pit was great, location was great and just enough room for 2 adults and 2 kids. The wifi is spotty but we enjoyed unplugging for a while. The heaters worked wonderful as it was 27 degrees in the mornings. The kids had a blast playing along the river. Can't wait to come back in the summer.

We had a lovely stay in your cabin. It was in a great location. Near great trails to hike and close to Ellijay town and Blue Ridge. We loved the creek and the fire pit. Great for our Thanksgiving getaway.

Kudos to owner and property Management! The quaint cabin was decorated with high end , up scale accessories for the “cabin -in-the-woods” feel! Unbelievably clean and well kept. It made me think my mom was on staff. The beautiful scenic view was Abundant driving from Elijay to Blue Ridge and all round. Daily we walked Turkey Creek just steps from the back deck. I’m making arrangements to book another mountain trip with you all. Thank you for the best customer service ever!!

I loved this cabin and the stream out back. Very quiet and peaceful. There was no lighting over the dining table though so it was very dark while trying to eat. Even though lanterns were provided, it was still very dark. Other than that I was very happy with the property.

The homeowner made the house very inviting and had flashlights in every room. We loved the Creek and the rocking chair outside. The electric fireplace was awesome and easy to use. Have already recommended to friends. Hope to visit again soon.

We were close to Amicolola Falls and Blue Ridge, which was what we wanted. The cabin had everything we needed. Our boys enjoyed playing in the creek and we even met a nice neighbor dog who enjoyed the water as well. Thank you for the use of your cabin!

The location was beautiful. The cabin felt secluded and the sound of the creek was so relaxing. Sitting on the porch was fully worth the price. Comfort and hospitality was not as good as other Airbnbs but overall a good stay. Would probably stay here again!

More kitchen towels and dish cloths would have been helpful.

We loved the location of this cabin! If you’re looking for simplicity and serenity this is a great option in Ellijay! The porch overlooking the creek was a gem we very much appreciated. Note, this property is managed by a company so communication did feel a bit less personal and more “formal/corporate” They were however responsive when we notified them of certain things.

The cabin is exactly as pictured and described. It’s small but perfect for our family of 4 (2adults,2kids). It was clean and had all the basic essentials. Location is great, near so many nice places to visit. Be aware: the driveway is steep, slippery, and uneven. We scraped the bottom of our car not realizing there was a drop, actually 2 drops. And after it rained we had a hard time getting out. The WiFi is not the best and cell service was not always available. When arriving we had trouble with the door lock, not being able to enter, and we had to call the management company to get us in.

The cabin was quite lovely. The creek in the back yard was soothing to listen to during the evening. We kept the sliders open every night. The grill worked great, the internet worked great… and we were very comfortable while we were there! One drawback was the driveway! The driveway is quite steep and the drop off from the paved section to the stone section was a significant drop, especially with a Prius. We only went down once, being careful of that drop off (and driving on some of the grass). During the remaining 6 days, we parked at the top of the driveway. We were afraid of damaging the underside of the car. It would be fine with an SUV or truck. Georgia folks know this… we did not! All in all - a great place to stay off the beaten path!

We stayed here for our anniversary, and it was very clean, free of bugs and very peaceful, the creek is very nice! The only thing that we saw that needs attention was the driveway , wonderful place to get away though!

The environmental aspects of the cabin are unmatched… breathtaking scenery of the many trees, hillside, and moving creek are all soothing factors of the location of this cabin. The cabin itself though is in need of updating and repair from 2 sliders that don’t lock, swelled wood within bathroom cabinets, and a recliner that has an ill-fitting cover that won’t stay in place.

The kitchen was full of roaches. Some of the furniture needed repair. Otherwise, beautiful location.

Pre-Arrival information was received 2 days after our arrival. We were not informed that a 4WD vehicle would be needed, directions were incorrect (required assistance from officer to find cabin), door code was incorrect. A call to the office obtained the correct code. The photos on the web do not describe this cabin-rocky, sloping walkway from parking to cabin. This is dangerous for person with limited mobility. Too many rules listed on refrigerator. Future stays are not for me.
