Description

You’ll see some wonderful Lazy Pines when you get away to this charming vacation home in the Big Canoe Community of Jasper, Georgia. This North Georgia mountain retreat has space to sleep up to 8 guests, with 4 beautiful bedrooms and 3 ½ lovely bathrooms. From elegant decor and modern amenities and appliances to a serene screened-in deck and nice sitting areas, Lazy Pines is fully outfitted for a fantastic stay in Big Canoe.

Unwind in the loft area with a good book or sip some lemonade on the sunny deck as burgers sizzle on the grill. Flip on the big screen TV as you cozy up with a group on the large sectional downstairs or gather in the main living area that features a beautiful stone fireplace, a TV, and large windows that let in lots of light and tree-studded views. The house rental also has Wi-Fi, so you can stay connected when you want.

Easily make meals, snacks, and drinks in the fully equipped kitchen and sit down at the dining table for meals together. The screened-in deck is another wonderful spot to relax, and the bedrooms have comforts to make you feel right at home. In all, you’ll have space for 8 guests across 1 king-size bed and 3 queen-size beds. The home also boasts an EV “Juice Box” charger, so electric cars can easily plug in, with 25 miles to the hour.

In the 8,000-acre Big Canoe Community, you’ll have access to a huge range of community amenities. Visit the new clubhouse, play golf at the 27-hole course, explore the miles of hiking trails, stop by the grocery store to stock your vacation rental, and take advantage of the post office, chapel, wedding reception areas, fitness center, and more!

Living Room
The living room in Lazy Pines is elegant yet cozy, with a large stacked-stone fireplace for those cool lake and mountain nights. As the fire goes, flip on the TV to watch some shows and unwind. The trunk-style coffee table has space for a board game or your drinks while you relax. The living room also has 2 vintage-style chairs, offering more space for guests to chat.

Kitchen
While Big Canoe has 6 restaurants within the community, this North Georgia rental also offers a fully equipped kitchen so you can make your own meals. Bake cookies and casseroles in the oven, make dinner on the stovetop, brew some coffee, pop some bagels in the toaster for breakfast, reheat leftovers in the microwave, and keep all your drinks, snacks, and meal ingredients fresh in the refrigerator. A small bartop has seating for 2, giving you some extra space for meals or a great place to chat or sip coffee while the chef of the group whips up something delicious.

Dining Table
Sit down together at the dining table beneath the elegant chandelier. There is seating for 4 here, and additional guests can sit at the breakfast bar, in the living room, or at one of the nice tables on the deck. Because of the open floorplan, it’s easy to chat with other guests as they relax in the living room or grab a snack.

After mealtime, clear the table and use it as your game-night spot! Pack your favorite board games for a game night after a day on Lake Petit. You can also use this for homeschooling, getting some work done, decorating gingerbread houses, doing a puzzle on a rainy day, or just coloring with the kids.

Living Spaces
Along with the primary living room, Lazy Pines has two other great spaces to unwind. Upstairs, sit back on the sofa and read a book or do some writing at the desk here. Downstairs, pile up on the sectional sofa in front of the big screen TV. Watch a movie and hang out in this cozy spot that may just be your favorite place after a day on the water or a scenic drive through North Georgia

Bedrooms
The bedrooms in Lazy Pines are their own little retreats, with the comforts of home and a mix of queen and king beds. Bedside lamps, sitting areas, and easily accessible bathrooms make each bedroom a comfortable place to call home. And with air conditioning throughout this vacation rental, guests will stay comfortable year-round.

Outdoor Spaces
No stay in Big Canoe is complete without plenty of great outdoor time. Luckily, you don’t even have to leave your vacation rental home to enjoy the great outdoors. Have lunch at the tables on the covered patio overlooking the trees or enjoy the sun on the open deck. Here you can toss some fresh-caught fish on the charcoal grill and gather around the 6-person table.

There is also a lovely screened-in deck that has a bistro-style table, a wicker chair, and serene views of the trees around. It’s a great place to start your day with a cup of coffee or tea, end your evening with a glass of local apple cider, or just hang out and reconnect.

Community Amenities
The sprawling 8,000-acre Big Canoe Community (about 1 ½ hours from Atlanta and about 1 hour from Blue Ridge) has a seemingly endless list of community amenities for those staying in the Big Canoe vacation rentals. Enjoy 4 outdoor pools and a hot tub; a clubhouse; 3 lakes for paddle boarding, boating, and kayaking; pontoon boats; miles of hiking trails; mountain views; waterfalls; a 27-hole golf course; hard and clay tennis courts; a fitness center and sauna; restaurants; a grocery store; lake views; and more!

This house was a dream vacation

A+ vacation rental. This house was a dream vacation rental. Just as shown in the photos, everything was emaculate. Not a speck of dust anywhere, and linens and towels were all fresh and high quality. The basement level has a cute coffee bar with custom mugs that just added to the entire vibe. It’s obvious the owner has an eye for interior design. The furniture and light fixtures were high end, and for price per night, you can’t beat it. We were able to cook all meals. The kitchen had all utensils and pans washed and ready to go. YouTube tv is available with all the channels, so we could catch up on all shows. My favorite part of the home was the upstairs loft/gaming area. This house is truly designed for you to relax and enjoy without ever having to go anywhere! Side note: I’m SUPER confused by the previous review left by Scott. I’m so glad I decided to go by the photos and not his review. Nothing stated in his review was noted by me or any of the guests upon our stay. BOOK IT!!!
