Along with a bunch of community amenities — including a golf course, sauna, tennis courts, swimming pools, hiking trails, eateries, and lakes — this 950-square-foot cabin features amenities to relax and entertain plus homey conveniences you’ll appreciate on your getaway.

Follow the wooden bridge from the flat, paved parking area to reach your cozy vacation home in Big Canoe. The deck wraps around the cabin to give you plenty of views of the serene towering trees. You can sip wine in the Adirondack chairs or fire up the gas grill for a fun cookout in the North Georgia Mountains. Inside, windows frame tranquil tree-studded scenes, hardwood floors flow throughout, and a vaulted ceiling makes the open-concept area feel extra spacious.

Plop on the plush sofa, kick up your feet on the chaise, or sit back in the armchair for a rest after your travels or excursions in the community. Flip on the TV to watch Netflix or cable shows together. And whip up meals in the fully equipped kitchen with stainless steel appliances. You can enjoy meals in front of the floor-to-ceiling windows at the country wood table.

When it’s time to hit the hay, peel off into one of 2 queen suites or pull out the sleeper sofa in the living room. Each bedroom has a TV and walls of windows framing the trees. You’ll also have 2 full bathrooms, a washer and dryer, and complimentary Wi-Fi!

Living Room
Ready to unwind with a glass of local wine or moonshine at your Big Canoe vacation rental? Slip into the living room that features a reaching ceiling, floor-to-ceiling windows, and country-style furnishings. You can sit back and relax after a day exploring the local area, hanging out at the annual Marble Festival, shopping downtown, or boating at the lakes.

Switch on the TV and put on Netflix or cable shows for entertainment or crack open a good book to read in the armchair. You can keep snacks and drinks on the coffee table to keep up the positive mood and energy. And at night, you can pull out the sofa that turns into a sleeper bed for other guests or the kiddos.

Kitchen
Steps from the living area is the fully outfitted kitchen that features everything you need to cook and serve meals at your Big Canoe cabin rental. Stainless steel appliances, an island, plus pots, pans, plates, bowls, cutlery, glasses, and mugs make this kitchen a great usable space on your mountain retreat. There’s even a chalk wall to write fun messages, a handy dishwasher, as well as a Keurig plus a standard drip coffeemaker!

Dining Area
Set the country dining table in front of the tall windows for mealtimes together with scenes of the beautiful trees outside. Between meals, you can clear the space for arts and crafts, board and card games, or even homeschool sessions. It’s a convenient spot to open a laptop for a spell and plan a memorable day trip in North Georgia

Bedrooms
Ready to catch some Zs? There are 2 inviting bedrooms — each with a TV for added entertainment, walls of windows showcasing the stunning tree scenery, custom furnishings, and queen-size beds. Enjoy a hot shower in one of 2 full bathrooms before slipping into your favorite pajamas and flopping into bed. This property is truly like staying in a treehouse. Wonderful view out any direction. Directly across the street from one of the playgrounds and walking trails. We enjoyed our stay and all that Big Canoe offers.

Lots to do

We booked this place literally on the drive up from FL the day before we arrived. We love Big Canoe and this was a last minute getaway before school started. Check in was a breeze, the property is in the trees and the kids called it our tree fort. It’s in a good location and was perfect for our family of 4. The kids loved the beach club and dog parks the most, The hiking trails we dragged them on not so much. All in all it was a good stay and we would stay here again.
