Living Room

Open to the kitchen and dining areas, the living room is the heart of this space. Guests can choose to chat together across the rooms catching up on everyone’s lives, or take advantage of more intimate conversation sitting with just your bestie and a good glass of wine.

Claim a spot in one of the chairs, as you snuggle under a blanket with your newest favorite book to read a few chapters by lamplight and only the sound of the fire (gas) flickering as it warms. Or cool off with the air conditioning on a summer day after hours spent on Lake Petit. Spread out on the sofa to take a nap or settle in to enjoy unlimited movie channels, Netflix, or even pop a movie in the Blu-ray player with your favorite snacks and popcorn for a long-overdue movie night on your big screen TV.

Kitchen

Whether you are wanting a quick snack or a hearty meal, your fully equipped kitchen in this lovely mountain retreat has all the pots, pans, utensils, and dishes to help make whatever your heart desires. Your full-size refrigerator will hold any leftovers from dinner out at The Old Mulehouse as well as all the fresh groceries you need for all your snacks and meals.

Start your action-packed day with ample caffeine by brewing a hot pot of coffee and popping in a slice of buttered toast for a quick bite. Whip up everyone’s favorite dinner in the oven and serve it piping hot from the bar. There are also 2 seats at the bar if extra company stops in or if your guests want to spread out. Take advantage of the dishwasher to make cleaning up in the evenings quick and easy at your vacation home.

Dining Area

Just steps away from the kitchen, a wooden dining table with 6 spindle-backed, wooden chairs offers seating for guests. Gather around for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks here and keep up with the highs and lows of the adventures of the day. Make sure to pack all of your favorite card games like Rook and Uno, as well as board games like Clue and Taboo – then meet up around the table for an awesome night of games and wonderful memories made. A mirrored wall will keep cheating to a minimum as the antler light fixture adds to the mountain ambiance. An adorable high chair is available to help feed any young guests while you are here.

Bedrooms

After a fun-filled day exploring Jasper and a trip to Bent Tree Stables for horseback riding, everyone will be ready to come back and get a good night’s sleep. Pull back the covers in one of 2 king-size beds or make up the sleeper sofa and settle in for a warm, restful night. One of the king beds separates into 2 twin beds if that better suits your guests’ needs.

Each bedroom has its own TV so everyone will be able to fall asleep to their own choice of show. If reading is more your style, turn on your bedside lamp and get as many chapters read before you drift off to dreamland. Unpack and feel more organized by using the closets and dressers. Open the curtains and enjoy the beauty of the outdoors from each of the rooms. Two bathrooms provide plenty of space to get ready on time. One has a shower and separate jetted tub if extra soaking is required after horseback riding, some sauna time, or swimming at the outdoor pool in Big Canoe.

Outdoor Space

Through sliding glass doors in the living room, you will find true tranquility on your balcony deck. Take in the sights of the lake, golf course, and all the nature that is at your door. In the mornings, sit in one of the two chairs around your glass top table and greet the day with a hot cup of coffee as the sun rises. In the evenings, pour a glass of wine and wind down over a chat with your bestie as the sun sets and nature goes to bed.

Other Amenities

Wireless internet makes looking up opening and closing times for tomorrow’s adventures easier and gives everyone a little screen time if needed. Pack less knowing you have a washer and dryer at your disposal while you are here.

Being a part of the Big Canoe Community, Bella Villa has access to all the community amenities as well. A golf course, hiking trails, waterfalls, 3 lakes for fishing and boating, 4 swimming pools, tennis courts, and a clubhouse are all available to use and enjoy.

Local Fun

Jasper is a small town with big town flair in its local shops, restaurants, and annual events. Many outdoor activities to fill your days and nights await you at the southern end of the gorgeous Blue Ridge Mountains. You can also take a drive to area towns for more fun, including Dahlonega, Ellijay, Dawsonville, Helen, and Blue Ridge.

Jasper Marble Festival

If you happen to be visiting the area in October, be sure to plan around the annual Marble Festival. You will get to enjoy a weekend of marble sculpting, live music, handmade crafts, a free kid zone, road race, and festival food as well as witness all the changing colors of the fall leaves in the Blue Ridge Mountains.

Best BBQ in Blue Ridge

In the South, we take our BBQ seriously! And because of that fact, there are a few great places that serve up some of the best. From the brisket-stuffed potatoes and Brunswick stew at Carrol’s to the deep-fried sticky ribs at Chester’s and the slow-cooked hardwood smoked taste at Blue Ridge Mountain BBQ, you will leave full and not at all disappointed.

Putt-Putt at The Lilly Pad Village

With an all-day ticket, play as many rounds of this 9-hole course of putt-putt beneath the shady trees as you can fit in. Also, make time to go gem mining, fishing, have a picnic, and grab some souvenirs at their shop for a full day of fun.
