The cabin is very cute and the fact that they allow dogs at no extra charge is awesome

We found Harley’s River Retreat last minute for Columbus Day weekend. We stayed three nights. The cabin is very cute and the fact that they allow dogs at no extra charge is awesome. It even has a dog run to let your pet free in a fenced area. My dog loved being out there listening to all the birds and watching all the deer. The deck could use pressure cleaning and fire pit area some cleaning. Kitchen has everything you need to cook. Space is great for a family of 4. Coosawattee River Resort is a great location with lots of amenities. There are deer everywhere you look. TONS! It was really cool to watch them all gather is groups. Takes about 12 minutes to get out of the resort from the cabin, but the winding roads are beautiful and all the deer keep you entertained on the drive. Owner is definitely a Harley biker. Named dog and cabin Harley and has cool decorations of motorcycles. We are also Harley owners, so that was nice. I would definitely stay here again.
