Better Together

Welcome to Better Together, a beautiful 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom vacation home for 9 in the Big Canoe Community in Jasper, Georgia (about 1 ½ hours from Atlanta). This pet-friendly rental home is fully outfitted, with modern details, high-end appliances, gorgeous finishes, the comforts of home, and entertaining extras for a great stay in Big Canoe. Plus, you’ll have access to all the community amenities in the community, including miles of hiking trails, tennis courts, outdoor pools, 3 lakes, a hot tub, a marina, restaurants, clubhouses, mountain views, a grocery store, and more! 

When you’re not kayaking, fishing, hiking, swimming, playing, or exploring, come back to Better Together to unwind. After a scenic drive through Blue Ridge, come back to Better Together for meals, games, and quality time with family and friends. Cook together in the beautiful kitchen, chat with drinks at the breakfast bar, and sit down for meals at the dining table nearby. 

When it’s time to kick up your feet, head to the lodge-like living room. Plush leather sofas flank the stacked stone fireplace that keeps the room extra cozy on cool days here. Or enjoy some fresh air on the screened-in deck that offers nice seating and wooded (and seasonal mountain) views. Get some sun on the open deck before flipping on the TV in a second living area that has a mini-fridge and card table or playing ping pong on the deck.

At night, rinse off in a beautifully tiled shower before climbing into one of 2 king beds, 1 queen bed, or the twin-over-full bunk bed. This luxury house rental also has a washer/dryer, highchair, Pack ‘n Play, Keurig coffeemaker, Wi-Fi, a grill, and a fenced area and dog run! You’ll have all you need to feel right at home at this mountian retreat. 

Living Room

The living room of Better Together is beautifully furnished, with chic leather sofas around the wood-burning fireplace. Get a fire going on a cool day in the North Georgia mountains and enjoy relaxing together. The home has Wi-Fi throughout, and the big screen TV offers YouTube TV and Netflix! It’s a great place to cozy up for a while, have a movie night, or let the kids watch their favorite cartoons while the adults whip up breakfast. 

At night, the living room will be your go-to place to unwind with a glass of local wine or a cup of hot cocoa. Or you can enjoy a good book or an afternoon nap between adventures on Lake Petit!

Kitchen

Elegantly appointed, the fully equipped kitchen of Better Together has all you need for big breakfasts, delicious lunches, and decadent dinners. Start your day with a cup of coffee, made with the Keurig or the 10-cup traditional coffeemaker. Enjoy cooking with high-end appliances, including a sleek black oven with range. 

Reheat leftovers in the microwave, pop bagels in the toaster, mix summertime drinks with the blender, and keep everyone’s favorite drinks or meal ingredients on hand in the double-door refrigerator with a bottom freezer. The large island in the center of the kitchen offers ample space for prepping meals, decorating holiday treats, or setting up a snack spread for the days around the house. 

Dining Area

With such a great space to cook, you need a great place to enjoy meals. Gather around the dining table at Better Together. It offers seating for 6, and additional guests can spread out to the breakfast bar, the living room, or the deck. It’s perfect for family dinners, romantic evenings after the kids have gone to bed, or packing up picnic lunches for a day on the trails. 

This table is also great for board games and card games you’ve brought from home. If you’re a gaming group, make some snacks in the kitchen nearby and have a fun night of playing together here! 

Second Living Area

Need more space to spread out? Better Together has a second great living space with a comfortable sofa, a leather club chair and ottoman, a big screen TV, a large coffee table, a card table in the corner, and a mini-fridge and bartop. Easily keep some drinks and snacks here as you hang out and relax. 

Outdoor Spaces

One of the main reasons you came to North Georgia was the beautiful outdoor scenery! Enjoy it all in Big Canoe Community – even from the comfort of your vacation rental. Play some ping pong on the terrace outside while others toss steaks, burgers, and kabobs on the gas grill. Get some sun on the open deck or relax on the screened-in deck. 

The home also offers a 2-vehicle carport, giving you a nice covered place to park. In total, there is space to park about 6 vehicles at the cabin. 

Pet-Friendly Perks

Traveling with your pet? Better Together has you and your best friend covered. Along with cozy spaces inside, Better Together has a fenced area and a dog run so your pup can get out plenty of energy. A crate is also provided for your convenience. Enjoy days relaxing on the deck together, playing around in the yard, and getting some fresh mountain air. 

Bedrooms

Luxury continues into the bedrooms of Better Together, where you’ll find a nice mix of bedding for a group. One bedroom has a queen-size bed and a twin-over-full bunk bed. Find a few board games on the bookshelf here, along with bedside lamps, a ceiling fan, a dresser for unpacking, and a flatscreen TV mounted on the wall.  

The other two bedrooms have king-size beds, each with a ceiling fan, flatscreen TV, bedside lamps, and lots of natural light. The home also offers 2 full bathrooms. One has a beautifully tiled shower while the other offers a double vanity and a bathtub/shower combo. 

Other Amenities

Better Together ensures you feel at home here, with amenities to make your stay easier. You will have a washer/dryer (great for washing towels after a day on the water or at the pool), a highchair and Pack ‘n Play, air conditioning, and a little library to choose from.

Community Amenities

When you stay in the private, gated community of Big Canoe, you gain access to a huge list of community amenities. Enjoy swimming, pontoon boats, canoes and kayaks, paddleboards, fishing, a rock waterslide, beach volleyball, the 110-acre Lake Petit (stocked with fish), a 27-hole golf course, clay and hard tennis courts, pickleball courts, hiking trails, waterfalls, bocce and basketball, playgrounds, a fitness center and spa, pools, a grocery store, a post office, restaurants, wedding facilities, and more! You’ll have all you could need on vacation at your fingertips. 

While some community amenities in Big Canoe are free, others may require an on-site fee — please note this is not included in the rental price.

There is so much to do in beautiful North Georgia! Along with the incredible amenities within the community, opportunities for fun are endless just outside its gates. Make a day trip to downtown Blue Ridge or visit one of the many great North Georiga mountain communities.
