The Goathouse

Welcome to The Goathouse, a 3-bedroom Ellijay cabin hosted by Georgia Cabins for YOU in the Walnut Mountain community. With 3.5 bathrooms and room for up to 8 guests, this North Georgia getaway makes it easy to spend time together by Turniptown Creek. Settle onto the screened deck beside the fireplace, head down to the creekside firepit, soak in the outdoor hot tub, or challenge the group to a game of pool. The wooded setting and several indoor and outdoor gathering spaces give you plenty of ways to shape your stay.

Living Room
The main living space combines warm wood finishes with comfortable seating and an open connection to the kitchen. Catch up with friends after a day around Ellijay, put on a movie, or relax by the electric fireplace while someone gets dinner started nearby.

Kitchen and Dining

Creekside Firepit

Important Information
The mountain driveway is steep. The multi-level cabin has interior and exterior stairs, and reaching the swing and creekside firepit involves a long outdoor staircase and sloped ground. Use extra care in wet weather or after dark. Creek views and sounds are part of the setting, but direct water access is limited and should not be assumed. Parking is limited to 3 vehicles, and the primary renter must be at least 25 years old.
