Your favorite part of this Blue Ridge hideaway may just be the first thing you see – the outdoor spaces! The sprawling decks provide tons of outdoor space where you can relax and unwind. Start days with a cup of coffee in the rocking chairs on the deck or enjoy lunch at the picnic table with a grill nearby. Later, stroll down to the yard to throw a ball around or to relax around the firepit with friends. 

Back inside, get cozy in the lodge-like living room that features leather seating, a floor-to-ceiling stone fireplace, a flatscreen TV, and an open floorplan. Gather here after days of exploring North Georgia and enjoy some relaxation. The fully equipped kitchen offers easy snacks just steps away, and you’ll have easy deck access as well. 

For entertainment, have fun in the unfinished game room that features arcade games! At night, retreat to the bedrooms that include a king master suite, an open loft bedroom with a queen bed and futon, and a bedroom in the partially finished (much cooler) basement/rec area. Living Room
The living room in Sweet Seclusion offers a lodge-like atmosphere for those relaxing days. Get comfortable in the plush recliner or chat with a friend on the chic sofa. You can flip on the TV to watch some shows while you hang out or just stay warm in front of the fireplace on a cool North Georgia night. There are tabletop lamps for reading, and there is a small book library to choose from. 

The living room also has a DVD player, so you can bring or rent some movies for movie nights in the cabin. Easily pop some popcorn in the full kitchen or break out the sweet treats you picked up in downtown Blue Ridge. If you’re an early riser, enjoy a quiet morning here before the rest of the group gets up. 

Kitchen
Save some money on vacation and take advantage of the fully equipped kitchen at Sweet Seclusion. Outfitted with all the essentials, the kitchen features a double-door refrigerator/freezer, an oven with a glass stovetop, a microwave, and a dishwasher for easy cleanup after meals. The cabinets are stocked with dishes and glassware, and there are utensils and cooking tools as well. Easily prep meals at the large kitchen island or enjoy your morning coffee, as there are 4 barstools here.

If you love to cook, stop by Mercier Orchards for some pancake or muffin mix and whip up a delicious breakfast before busy days in the mountains. Or you can bring your go-to recipes for a memorable holiday getaway. Not one for cooking? Stock the refrigerator with snacks, leftovers from dinner downtown, or frozen pizzas. You’ll have space for ordering and enjoying takeout or packing up picnic lunches for hikes! 

Dining Area
Sit down as a group at the dining table for 4 here, with additional guests spilling over to the kitchen island or into the living room. Windows around the space let in natural light for nice meals together. Sip coffee and plan out the day’s adventures in the morning, have an easy lunch, or enjoy a romantic dinner with just the two of you. 

The dining table is also a good place to homeschool, catch up on work, put together puzzles on rainy days, scrapbook, craft, or decorate holiday treats. There is also a dining table outside for those beautiful days! 

Rec Room
Have a blast in the basement area (partially finished and much cooler) with some standup arcade games! Kids can try out the classics while the adults show off their skills with some old-school fun. This space also houses one of the bedrooms, which is always a favorite for kids wanting to sleep in the play area. A half bath is located here as well. 

Bedrooms
While the entire cabin is a retreat, the bedrooms are private getaways. The master suite on the entry level features a king-size bed, easy deck access, a TV, and closet space so you can unpack. This bedroom also has a large tiled shower and a double vanity in the bathroom, great for getting ready for dinner downtown. The upper level has an open loft with a queen-size bed and a futon sleeper – plus a second large bathroom. Downstairs, the partially finished basement has a third bedroom and a half bath. 

Outdoor Spaces
The exterior of Sweet Seclusion is just as inviting as the inside. Stretch your legs in the spacious yard, where you can throw around a ball, play yard games brought from home, or let the kids burn some energy. The spacious deck provides a spot for sipping a drink and relaxing – and offers fantastic mountain views. 

In the yard, the firepit is the perfect place to gather and chat. Stay warm by the fire, reconnect with old friends, or tell scary stories with the kids. There are even some kid-sized chairs here! After long days, enjoy relaxing here. 

Other Amenities
This mountain retreat is fully outfitted to make you feel at home. The laundry room in the entry level has a washer/dryer so you can pack light or head home without a bunch of dirty laundry. There is also a half bath connected to the laundry area, so guests will have easy access. This Mineral Bluff cabin also has Wi-Fi, so you can post photos, shop, or check out our blog for ideas for fun while in the area.

Please be aware the partially finished basement can be much colder than the rest of the home — especially during cooler months — including the third bedroom, half bathroom, and rec room.
