You’ll also have a washer/dryer at your Big Canoe rental, so you can pack light and refresh towels, linens, and clothes. 

Bedding at your North Georgia cabin includes 2 queen beds and 2 twin beds with trundles. Bonus: the primary suite has its own bathroom and a deck with a fire table. Living Room
Between exploring The First Mountain City, adventuring in the Chattahoochee National Forest, and hopping vineyards in neighboring Dahlonega, unwind in front of the big screen TV in the living room at your Big Canoe vacation rental. Play Tic-Tac-Toe on the coffee table or clear the space for card games from home. And enjoy naptimes and cuddles with your partner on the plush sofa.

This bright and inviting living area offers wooded views during the day and cozy moments by the electric (heated) fireplace in the evenings of fall/winter. There’s also a ceiling fan to make the room even more comfortable in warmer weather. And you can open the next book in your favorite series while lounging in one of the armchairs, with the warm-lit lamps around the room.

Kitchen
Hungry? Thirsty? Mealtimes are important on vacation, so Castaway Cottage features a full kitchen with everything you need to prepare and serve food and drinks. 

Among the major and minor appliances, find a dishwasher and Keurig combo for single cups and full pots of your favorite hot beverages. The sink overlooks the serene trees outside. And you’ll have pots, pans, plates, bowls, cutlery, cooking utensils, mugs, wine glasses, and more for added convenience!

Dining Area
Bust out the board games between meals at the gorgeous log table with matching benches in the dining area. Located just off the kitchen, this dining space keeps seconds and dessert within a few steps! You can also open the glass doors for an indoor/outdoor dining experience on nice days. 

Rec Room
Sip on Georgia moonshine while hanging out in the rec room in the unfinished basement at your vacation rental in Big Canoe. Play fun rounds of air hockey and ping pong whenever you like! Or host a game tournament for the whole family or group of friends. 

Bedrooms
This 2-bedroom cabin with a loft in Big Canoe, GA, sleeps up to 8 guests and offers a mix of bedding to suit your small group. Each bedroom has a queen-size bed plus a TV. The primary suite has its own bathroom with a bowl sink and shower/tub combo plus a private deck with a fire table overlooking seasonal mountain views. 

The second bedroom at your Big Canoe lodge has access to the main bathroom with a walk-in shower, which is shared with the rest of the home. In the loft, you’ll find 2 twin-size beds — each with a pull-out trundle — ideal for singles or kids in your group. And there’s a cozy game area with a chess board and other board games for more fun on your North Georgia vacation.

Outdoor Spaces
When you’re not wandering around the impressive Gibbs Gardens or kayaking, paddleboarding, or swimming at Lake Disharoon, retreat to your own outdoor spaces to relax at your Big Canoe cabin. There are 2 decks with wooded and seasonal mountain views. 

Head to the main deck to light the gas grill for Blue Ridge Mountain cookouts and dine at the outdoor table with an umbrella. Off the primary suite, there’s a private deck with a fire table, great for wine sips and memorable chats in the fresh mountain air.

For travel notes, the driveway at your home rental is flat and paved with parking space for 2 vehicles.

This pet-friendly cabin in Big Canoe, GA, offers a great place to bring your doggies on vacation — no more sitters or boarding facilities! You don’t have to stop at an office to check in or out at this property. High speed Wi-Fi is provided completely free for your mountain retreat.
