This was the perfect getaway spot from Atlanta in Blue Ridge. First, the front porch is dreamy (especially at night) as it’s adjacent to a quaint garden with a cozy bonfire ring that overlooks the property. Especially nice for those that like to enjoy a fire at night with kiddos nearby in bed. There is also an additional bonfire area down by the water for the adventurers. We stayed for almost a week – a girls trip (Sept 10-16) and we had plenty of room to relax together or choose our own adventure, but our favorites were the tranquil screened porch overlooking the property and the dreamy coffee bar in the kitchen! Literally had everything you’d want to make your coffee just the way you like it. We loved spending mornings on the screened porch with our perfect cup of coffee, reading or just taking in the morning air. Upstairs rooms make you feel like you are in a tree house – wishing you a rainy day or two so you can enjoy the tranquility of rain sounds on that roof. This place really provided everything you want in time away while also being close to town for food and shopping, as well as outdoor activities galore. Washer and dryer were clutch for all the outdoor activities. Overall, beds were comfy, kitchen had all the essentials and more, basement was filled with games, ping pong and access to the hot tub! Hot tub has the perfect setup with string lights, hooks to hang your towels and a nice view of the night sky/property. Can’t wait to come back and book this spot again! Recommendations: – Take a walk in the neighborhood we had some nice deer sightings in the evenings. – Bring a blanket to use outside. So many places to hang outside in the morning or night around the property. – 5 mins from town: When you get back to main road, drive straight across the highway for quick back way into town – you can stop at Grumpy Old Men brewery on the way! – Restaurants: Black Sheep, the Dogwood (good place for pups!), Mona Lisa Dessert House and Whiskey & Water.
